"Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But, for children, play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood." -Fred Rogers
Everywhere, children play to fulfill a sense of curiosity, always wanting to learn more. I was eager to explore the universality of play among children who are being raised in different parts of the world. When looking at the images of children playing, whether they are in Colorado or Denmark, they begin to blend together; play is play. With this innate sense of exploration and imagination, children all around the world uninhibitedly play.
Observing play and how children exercise their imagination instills a sense of wonder in the way I photograph.
